What type of project is best suited to your supply lines?
We specialize in for products in anti-vibration rubber to metal bonding, aluminum and aluminum extrusions, stamping, die casting, plastic injection, extrusions and assembly projects.
What volumes are suitable for offshore sourcing?
Volumes should be in the 5K to 20K ranges per part, and multiple parts to be consolidated into one shipment.
Do you need prints or samples or both?
We would require prints at a minimum, preferably via email. For engineering prints we work with AutoCad. We bill engineering out at US$50 per hour if you need some help in getting your sketches into a standard engineering format.
We would also prefer to have at least four (4) samples from any project to allow us to get the part in front of multiple factories and get the best value in the shortest amount of time.
What are typical lead times?
General lead-time for tooling is 45 days. Stamping projects are usually a little quicker, and plastic injections projects can be a little slower. We make tools for local production and for export. Quantity production is generally within 30-45 days of tooling completion.
How do payments work?
Tooling fee payment terms are 60% upon order placement and the balance due upon part approval. Production payment terms are 50% deposit and the balance when shipment is ready to go. Goods do not leave China until payment has been made to our Bank of China account.
How do deliveries work?
We quote most often by Ex-Factory. We also quote FOB Zhongshan and FOB XiaoLan, depending on the factory location. We have the ability to ship from China to your dock, and clear US Customs, but in general it makes more sense for the customers to work with their own forwarder to keep their costs lower.
Do you carry inventory?
We do not carry inventory except as needed for ongoing production or unless customer buys it in advance. Most of our customers ship in large shipments, and do partial shipments to their customers in their country.
Can you do plating?
We do all kinds of plating. Common are zinc, nickel, chrome, copper, and brass.
Do you work with plastic injection?
Yes, both for domestic use and for export.
Do you have sales reps in our country?
We have customers worldwide but do not have a formal representation network.
